No vignettes; tolls on the Storebælt (Great Belt) and Øresund (to Sweden) bridges.
Motorways are free and there are no vignettes. You pay to cross two big bridges: Storebælt (Great Belt, between Zealand and Funen) and Øresund (to Sweden). At the toll plazas you pay by card, in cash or via BroBizz / number plate recognition – see storebaelt.dk and oresundsbron.com.
Low-emission zones (miljøzoner) are in place in Copenhagen, Frederiksberg, Aarhus, Odense and Aalborg. Older diesels (cars first registered before 1 January 2011) must meet the Euro 5 standard or have a particulate filter, and must be registered at miljoezoner.dk no later than the day you enter. Petrol cars and hybrids do not need to be registered.
