Norway — motorway tolls and road charges

Toll roads, bridges and tunnels – automatic AutoPASS toll points; ferries paid separately.

There are no vignettes, but many roads, bridges and tunnels are tolled. Most toll points work automatically in the AutoPASS system – you don’t stop, a camera reads your number plate. To get the bill without extra costs, register your car with Epass24 before your trip or sign a contract with an AutoPASS tag issuer – details at autopass.no. Motorcycles usually don’t pay.

Large cities (e.g. Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim) may temporarily restrict traffic, including bans on diesel cars – check the city council websites.
